Drawing from the wellsprings of archetype, ancestral memory, and mythic time, SEMPERGEIST invites members into a practice of listening, learning, witnessing, and rewriting. SEMPERGEIST means "Enduring Spirit", blending Latin (“Semper” – always, enduring) and German (“Geist” – spirit, intellect) to symbolize an ever-evolving journey of self-authorship, transformation, and resilience. It represents a guiding force of continuous growth, where the pursuit of wisdom, introspection, and reinvention is constant and enduring.

About the Founder

Dennis Stevens, Ed.D., is an educator, writer, artist, veteran, and thought leader in narrative healing, self-authorship, and applied philosophy. With a multidisciplinary background spanning education, psychology, and philosophy, his work explores how individuals construct meaning, reclaim personal narrative, and navigate transformation with agency and depth. Through SEMPERGEIST, Dennis is cultivating a community of practice where introspection meets action, offering books, tools, and creative frameworks for self-inquiry, emotional growth, and responsible masculinity in a rapidly evolving world.
